Do not store above 25ºC. Avoid excessive heat.

Solutions prepared for IV injection must be used within 48 hores if stored at 15º-30ºC or with 7 days if refrigerated (2º-8ºC)

For IM: If the contents of vial are to be transferred to an appropriate infusion solution, each gram of aztreonam should be initially constituted with at least 3ml sterile water for injection.

Intravenous solutions

For bolus injection: The contents of an azom capacity vial should be constituted with 6 to 10ml steerile water for injection. Administer:over a period of 3 to 5 minutes

Infusion: each gram of aztreonam should be initially constituted with at least 3 ml sterile water for injection. Further dilution may be obtained with one of the following intravenous infusion solution during administration not exceeding 2% w/v. Aztreonam infusion should be completed with in a 20-60 mins. Period.

0.9% NaCl, Sterile water for injection ringher Lactate USP. Dextrose inj. 5%
