Store at 25ºC; excursions are permitted to 15ºC-30ºC

Upon constitution with SWFI or 0.9 % NaCl the suspension may be held for lhr. prior to transfer & dilution in the infusion bag. If diluted in 0.9% NaCl, Stable for 12hrs at 25ºC & for 72 hrs isf stored at 2ºC-8ºC If diluted in 5 % Dextrose stable for 4 hrs & for 24 hrs if stored at 2-8ºC.

IV infusion: Constitute the 500mg vial with 10ml of sterile water for inj. Or 0.9 % NaCl inj. & gently shake to form a suspension . The resultant conc. Is approx. 50 mg/mL. Withdraw the suspension using a syringe with a 21 gauge needle and add it to an infusion bag containing 100mL of normal saline or 5% dextrose; gently shake until clear. The final infusion solution conc. Is approximately 4.5 mg/mL.
